Who Are We and Why Are We Here
I can't count the number of times a reservist has asked me about a particular benefit or right, or listened to me talking about a benefit and said "I had no idea we could do that!" I'm also tired of hearing "oh, you're just a reservist," or "reservists aren't eligible for that." Yes, yes we are. Reservists are extremely important to the United States' military readiness. At the same time, reservists are balancing their military careers with their civilian careers, families, education... there's a helluva lot more that goes into being a reservist than "one weekend a month, two weeks a year." Every reservist I know does way more than their 36 days of drill, hence "36 & ...".
The BLUF
Mission
Our Mission is to support and empower reservists by providing relevant and timely information and services, as well as provide a voice for reservists to fight for improved rights, benefits, and support.
Vision
A society that supports reservists from all sides and recognizes the value and sacrifice of a career in the reserves so that reservists are physically, mentally, and emotionally ready and able to support their communities and serve.
Platform
We believe that it takes support from all levels to encourage and develop the reserve force necessary, so we support select policies, programs, and legislation at the local, state, and federal levels that benefit reservists, their families, veterans, and those who support them.
