Who Are We

A Reservist Information and Support Network

We started our site with one goal in mind: support and empower reservists with the information and resources they need. Ultimately, we hope to build a community, a voice for reservists, and a repository that holistically informs and helps reservists, from details on deployments to updates on policy, from resume assistance to finding reserve friendly employers, from family resources to personal benefits. We are reservists. We've deployed, we've negotiated the VA processes, we've read the manuals, we've paid to get to drill. We've worked with active duty and civilian employers that truly supported and thanked us for our work and service, those who only provided lip service, and those who were downright antagonistic. We've seen, heard, and suffered from the misinformation, and we've been lifted up both those who helped us find the truth and benefits we were due. We are here to empower all past, current, and future Reservists.

Nearly every Reservist we've met does way more than just their 36 days of drill. And that's on top of balancing school, civilian employment, family, a life. You're so much more than just a Reservist, and 36& is here to help with all of it. 

As we build this community, we have a few asks:

1. There's a lot of information out there, good and bad. Help us find and share the good, and if you see something wrong, help us fix it. There's a lot of nuance to policy, and every service is different. Help us help the community by letting us know if something changes and we haven't posted about it yet.  

2. Talk to us, tell us what you need so we look it up and can add it.

3. Help us spread the word about this site.
